• The department is spread across various units such as Teaching Pharmacy, Museum, Quality Testing Laboratory, medicine manufacturing unit etc.
• Department is equipped with charts, specimen, models, books for teaching and learning purpose.
• Museum contains specimens of herbal drugs, metals, minerals, equipments etc. maintained for the benefit of students.
• Main aim is guiding the students to identify the raw drugs and formulation with expertise and to strengthen their skills of formulating a recipe. The department is well equipped with all instruments which are needed for UG practicals.
• Preparation of various formulations are done to cater the needs of the hospital patients in the manufacturing unit.
• A Quality Testing Lab is attached to the department where the testing and teaching of the medical formulations are conducted. Providing quality pharmaceutical education and research in response to changing needs of Ayurvedic drug industry and society through a flexible and innovative teaching is our aim.
